DigiBiz network & platform

The DigiBiz Network provides an online space for the network members, consisting of past programme participants, to share information & advice, connect with peers, get access to training courses & participate in MasterMind groups.

Our digital platform connects entrepreneurs, Entrepreneur Support Organisations (ESOs) & ecosystem contributors  for learning & collaboration. This platform was developed as part of the DigiBiz Programme, a collaboration between the UK Aid’s RISA Fund, the University of the Western Cape’s Centre for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Catalyst for Growth & the EPI. Programme design &  management is assigned to the EPI.

The DigiBiz Network aims to boost small business growth & innovation in South Africa through:

  • Collaboration & knowledge sharing by Network Members;
  • Hosting of online training courses with technology partners;
  • Peer-support & learning through DigiBizMasterMinds;
  • Raising awareness & promotion of collaboration through monthly DigiBiz Public Webinars;
  • Defining & promoting “best-practice” through Communities of Practice workshops; &
  • Publishing of Quick Tips & other information relevant to small businesses & supporting practitioners who have an interest in adopting digital solutions.

In addition, social media platforms are leveraged to facilitate engagement & sharing of information by Network Members.
